just because. なんとなく。

for no particular reason.

most gifts need a reason. a birthday, an apology, a date in february.

just because. is about the other kind. the flower someone brings on an ordinary tuesday, because they thought of you.

a little philosophy of love

love doesn’t always need a reason. not an occasion, not even the hope of something back. sometimes you just want to offer a flower, and that’s enough.

free to give. open to receive. nothing to prove. nothing owed.

one creature, one flower

every design is the same small gesture. a creature looks up at you and holds out one pink, five-petal flower. it doesn’t push it into your hands, and it asks for nothing back.

なんとなく (nantonaku) is japanese for “for no particular reason”. it sits under our name on every tee.

who it’s for

it started with a shirt. we bought one like it to wear a feeling we couldn’t quite put into words, and guessed we weren’t the only ones.

so this is for anyone who wants a little more tenderness, in their own life or in the world. wear one, and the creature offers its flower to everyone you pass. or give one to someone you thought of today.

made to be kept

the tees are organic cotton, printed to order in the EU. nothing is made that nobody asked for.
